Tatay Ricardo Sanchez had no idea about organic farming and had little knowledge on crop production. He only knew how to plant rice. His participation in LifeBank CBE’s training and mentoring program expanded his skill sets in crop production and opened him to new concepts in organic-based farming. With hard work and patience, Tatay Ricardo was able to produce lettuce, peanut, camote tops, tomato mustard, ampalaya, and other high value crops. He now supplies crops to social enterprises such as Bayani Brew, First Harvest, and Grassroots Kitchen.
